top 5: fashion blogs

While I love that you keep coming back to mission:closet for your fashion blog fix, I’m guessing you’re always on the lookout for more great content. Here are five of my favorite fashion blogs, in no particular order, and why they keep me coming back for more.

1. coco+kelley

Seattleite Cassandra Lavalle showcases a fabulous mix of fashion, interior design, and everyday life. She strikes the right balance of realistic and inspirational.

2. Sea of Shoes

Jane Aldridge=model/blogger extraordinaire. She’s gorgeous (her mother is a former model), takes beautiful photos, does a million cool things all over the world, has unique, ambitious style, and is just eighteen!

3. The Sartorialist

Scott Schuman’s street fashion photos are unparalleled. He captures beautiful sartorial moments in everyday life.

4. Who What Wear

I know I’ve talked about WWW before, but I really can’t say enough good things about this blog (and book) created by Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr. The focus is celebrity style but they always tell you how to create the look for less and give great tips on a daily basis. I subscribe by email and read WWW on my commute every morning.

5. garance doré

Garance is the female, French version of Scott Schuman. She also happens to be his girlfried! Her photos are often styled but she shoots great street style too. While The Sartorialist is often the silent photgrapher, Garance’s voice is delightfuly loud and clear.
