Last week my super fashionable friend Monica celebrated her birthday in style. I loved her sequin top, hot leather pants, and incred Miu Miu sparkly booties. Happy birthday Mon!

Hangr 16 recently started carrying Wildlife Works, a sustainable, carbon neutral fashion line that supports the preservation of a wildlife reserve in Kenya. They threw a great party a couple of weeks ago to celebrate the launch. Hangr 16 will be carrying the line through the end of December so head over their soon--the tees and scarves would make great gifts for men and women.

Two of my family friends just launched Project Color Corps, a nonprofit organization dedicated to painting inner city neighborhoods with color and pattern that impart positive messages of optimism and hope. This Sunday is their first "Random Act of Color" event at Dogpatch Studios, where we'll assemble a heART installation from donated red clothing items. All clothing will then be distributed to shelters in San Francisco and Berkeley. Here are the details:
What: Random Act of Color heART installation with donated red clothing
When: Sunday, December 11th, 11am-1pm
Where: Dogpatch Studios, 991 Tennessee St, SF
Bring: Something in shades of red to keep our communities warm during the coming months. New or gently used sweaters, socks, scarves, mittens, blankets, coats, umbrellas, hats, and anything that keeps you warm.
To find out more, please visit projectcolorcorps.org. Hope to see you there!
