spring ahead: asymmetry

Asymmetry

Asymmetry by missioncloset featuring an asymmetrical dress

Designers like Charlotte Ronson and Vera Wang played with asymmetry for Spring. Think angled shirt hems, one shoulder tops, and imbalanced skirts. I love the look of a flowy, below-the-knee skirt with a slightly longer backside. Or the blue dress above with the long shawl-like half would be stunning for a wedding or cocktail party. I also loved this 10 Crosby dress but couldn't pin it to Polyvore for some reason.

  1. Definitely one of the trends I want to try but have nothing to try yet, I just got a dress from Lulu's that's shorter in the front but it's too springy to wear now. I'm even considering hacking something myself.
